CELEBRATE ROXBURY SUMMER FESTIVAL
The festivities will kick off at 10AM with a Traditional Catskill Mountain Parade, that includes tractors, classic cars, fire trucks, scout troops, school bands, and much more. Main Street will be lined with artisans and vendors showcasing their crafts and products and local businesses will host tastings and special events. Vendors include photography, pottery, jewelry, and gourmet farm to table foods. An outstanding quilt collection will be on display inside the Jay Gould Memorial Church and the restored organ will be playing patriotic and show tunes throughout the day.
Interactive community art activities and exhibitions, a silent auction benefitting the Roxbury Library, a watermelon eating contest, bouncy house, wildlife show, petting zoo, face painting, magicians and clowns as well as all day musical entertainment will make this a memorable event.
Entertainment includes square dancing, fiddle music, blues guitar. Several food and beverage trucks will be conveniently located in the entertainment area. Choices include taco, wood fired pizza, empanadas, craft beer and wine.
Gift certificates currently valued at $1,000.00 from a variety of local businesses including golf, dining, and shopping, will be raffled off to ticket holders before the end of the festival.

Downtown Festivities will be followed by Music on The Mountain Outdoor Concert at Plattekill Mountain from 4 to 7pm. This first concert of the Summer will feature local Rock and Roll cover band "Meeker Hollow String Band". Activities include chairlift rides, country BBQ and bar services on the deck. Bring your lawn chair and blankets, and your friends and family.
